Vacancy for Practice Nurse, 16 hours per week
The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen due to our growing list size, for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to join our innovative and friendly nursing team.
We are a dynamic practice, rated outstanding by CQC, who provide a high level of patient care in a supportive environment. This post would be suitable for a newly qualified nurse or a nurse who is wishing to move into Primary Care.
An individual induction and training programme will be provided, working alongside our experienced team of GP’s, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, and Health Care Assistants.
The role will involve general Treatment Room duties such as wound/ulcer care, travel advice, routine immunisations, contraception, smears, health promotion and guidance, ECGs and venepuncture and delivery of QoF for the practice.
The position is permanent, working across both our sites. Salary will be dependent on experience.

- NMC Registered Nurse
- Confident and effective communicator
- Flexible, team player
- Excellent IT skills
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge and some experience of Chronic Disease
- Knowledge and understanding of Primary care
- Knowledge of Infection Control procedures
- Understanding of CQC requirements
