Medical practice supports 13,200+ patients and we pride ourselves on our professional and caring approach to supporting our patients and the local community. We are situated in a purpose built Health Centre working alongside and collaboratively with other health trusts which also allows for perfect integration with other local healthcare teams.
We currently have one vacancy.
It is a part time role and the working arrangements are negotiable depending on the skill set of the applicants.
As a valued team member you will actively support the Clinicians to ensure the smooth and effective running of the Practice.
As a Practice Nurse you should ideally be qualified in chronic disease management to include: asthma, diabetes, cervical cytology, wound care, along with general treatment room duties. The Practice supports professional development to ensure a full skills mix of treatments can be provided to our patients.
This role require a well presented individual with a calm, methodical approach to work, the ability to deal empathically and professionally with the general public and a working knowledge of EMIS Web would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
The successful applicant will be receptive to change, with excellent communication skills, be a team player and have a ‘can-do approach’ to work.
These roles will be subject to DBS vetting.
