Experienced Prescription Clerk – Old School Surgery

Old School Surgery is a friendly village practice near Canterbury. We are currently looking for an experienced Prescription Clerk for 25 hours per week to start ASAP. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of prescription requests ,liaising effectively with all relevant personnel. Duties include but are not limited to, the processing of repeat prescriptions in electronic or hard copy format, maintaining and ordering of stock.
In addition you will be required to cover the Reception area when required to do so by the Practice Manager.
Requirements for the role:
- Strong IT skills
- Proven experience as a Prescription Clerk
- Proficient in using EMIS .
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
The hours are Monday 0800-12.00, Wednesday 0800-18.30 and Friday 0800-18.30.
