4 Session Salaried GP – Theatre Royal Surgery

We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking and hardworking Salaried GP to join our team for 4 sessions per week. Our training and teaching practice has a current list size of 9000 patients but we anticipate this will increase over the next 12 months. Theatre Royal Surgery is situated in Dereham, a small market town that is 20 minutes from Norwich on the A47 and you would be driving against traffic if commuting from Norwich!.
Very competitive rates of pay with a paid admin session pro rata.
We have a supportive and friendly team comprising of:
A visiting Nurse Practitioner for the elderly and care homes.
A PCN funded clinical pharmacist and pharmacy technician
Highly experienced Practice nurses and HCAs.
A loyal and experienced management team with a wonderful administration team passionate about patient care.
In house PCN funded First Contact Point Physiotherapy service with patient direct access.
Our admin staff are very friendly and eager to help.
We are looking for someone who shares a passion for general practice and strives for patient-centred care. Our personalised lists ensure excellent patient continuity and satisfaction. We are a small, close practice team and enjoy daily coffee breaks together after morning surgery and lunch together with the wider team. We are passionate about staff morale and plan regular social events and team building. We have regular training days with teaching and sharing of best practice.
Opportunities within the practice:
Teaching UEA medical students.
Mentoring Pharmacists and Nurse practitioners
GP training Registrars.
We strongly encourage specialist interests such as sexual/women’s health, coil fitting, minor surgery, joint injections or any other area of expertise you can bring.
PCN and ICB involvement.
