If you are a GP looking to join an innovative, forward thinking and rapidly expanding, patient centred practice, then we have a great opportunity for you. A hugely respected General Practice offering services to 10,000 patients within the High Peak town of Buxton, with an ever growing patient list, we are currently in the market for a GP to work 6-8 sessions per week, as part of our supportive, highly skilled and passionate clinical team. As well as being at the forefront of local services through the High Peak Primary Care Network, we are also a training practice supporting Medical Students, Foundation and Trainee Doctors with strong links to Sheffield University and East Cheshire Deanery. Our clinical team consists of 4 GP partners, 4 salaried GP and a fantastic 4 strong Nursing team who meet the daily challenges of Primary Care in a supportive environment, with daily clinical team 'huddle' and regular clinical team meetings and MDT discussions. Our prominence in the local area can be demonstrated through our involvement in the High Peak PCN with the Clinical Director, PCN Care Home lead and Covid Vaccination lead for the High Peak all working within the practice, as well being strategically involved in a variety of other locally commissioned services. Our successful candidate will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within modern day Primary Care and should be energised, flexible and ready to hit the ground running. Initially a Salaried GP role, candidates with aspirations to become a GP partner in the future may find this opportunity ideally suited to them. The package on offer includes a competitive sessional rate which is negotiable depending on experience, Indemnity costs covered, funded training courses/CPD with study leave allocated on top of annual leave and bank holiday entitlement, and relevant medical equipment provided.
