We are looking for a full time and a part time enthusiastic and highly motivated clinical pharmacist to join our team and work for North East Ipswich Primary Care Network. The roles will involve working across the practices within the PCN (currently Two Rivers Medical Centre and Felixstowe Road Medical Practice)
The role will involve providing prescribing support to the clinical team in the following key areas
Assisting with minor illness
Prescription management
MHRA/Patient safety drug alerts across both sites.
Prescription safety
Acute common conditions
Chronic disease management
To setup protocols around medication review.
Work closely with patients addicted to diazepam, lorazepam other Z drugs and controlled drugs.
Also work closely with prescribing leads to:
develop and maintain shared formulae
develop and maintain prescribing systems, audits
develop and maintain safe prescribing
plan education needs of teams and work on solutions

Pay is £40-£50k WTE depending in qualifications and experience
Holiday: 27 days plus 8 bank holiday (pro-rata), increasing with years of NHS service
