Devon Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) intends to appoint a Primary Care Medical Director.
This post is open to any individual working as a GP in Devon (on the performers’ list) for five years. The post is for two days per week and will be remunerated at the rate used by Devon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The post will be for three years initially, with the possibility of extension.
The purpose of the role is to act as a representative of the provider organisations in general practice in Devon. The application is for an individual, but should be supported by a letter of support from one of the Devon Primary Care Collaborative Boards. The post is hosted by Devon CCG, but it is not a CCG role.
Key responsibilities of the role may change in time as the impact of the new contract for primary care takes effect and primary care networks develop.
