Advert for a GP to work at Teenage drop in Centre Bursledon and Hedge End for The Young People’s Wellbeing Service, an established charity with an excellent reputation for supporting young people.

GP Hedge End-Wednesdays: Rota basis. Potential for teaching in schools.

An enthusiastic GP with a passion for working with young people is needed to work at our friendly Hedge End Teenage Drop-in Centre on a rota basis with our small team of GP’s, nurses, and administrators. Any applicant must ideally hold the Diploma in Sexual Health (or be willing to work towards this with our support (we are happy to discuss the financial arrangements and support we may be able to offer around this). You must also be flexible (e.g. working on a rota basis with other staff) and able to work without supervision. You will be required to provide contraception and sexual health advice for Young People. Knowledge on Smoking cessation would be beneficial. There is an additional opportunity to teach in local secondary schools.
