Southampton Primary Care Limited is an innovative and forward thinking GP Federation set up in November 2014. It is a non-profit making organisation owned by Southampton GP practices which delivers a range of services throughout the city including primary care hubs, ED streaming services, home visiting and many more.
We were established to:
Strengthen the capacity of practices and to develop and tender for new services.
Make efficiency savings/economies of scale.
Strengthen Clinical Governance and be able to demonstrate the quality and safety of our services.
Develop training and education.
Improve Local Service Integration across Practices and other providers.
We are now looking for an experienced and accomplished individual to join our team to help take our services forward as we embed work to date and develop new functions across Southampton.
The Operations Supervisor will be required to assist in the planning, supporting, facilitating and monitoring the progress of each work-stream with specific regard to service improvement, change management initiatives and providing management support, training and expert guidance to all project staff.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks in a primary care environment and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organised, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenge of managing and supporting an office of diverse people. Knowledge of clinical software systems and primary care delivery preferred.
The closing date for applications is Friday 19th October 2018 – however this date maybe subject to change if sufficient applications are received. Interview date is TBA.
Hours are full time and applicants must have a high level of flexibility to cover evenings and weekends as required.
