Our team includes 4 Practice Nurses, HCA, a Pharmacist, 3 GP Partners 1 salaried GP (3.5 days, 3.5 days, 3 days) and 2 GP Retainers (2.0days). We have fantastic administrative support and a dynamic management team.
We use Emis web, are high QOF achievers and were rated good by CQC in 2016.
We have staff trained in Minor Surgery and Joint injections, and Sexual Health, which we offer in dedicated clinics. Special interests and personal development are welcomed and encouraged.
The District Nurses are on site and we also have regular visits from Podiatry, Dietician, Mental Health Team, and patients have direct access to Physiotherapy.
The Practice covers the town and local rural area. It is 30 minutes from Carlisle, 15 minutes from Wigton and Cockermouth, all of which have excellent schools. There are good transport links and fabulous views over the Lake District, which offers excellent cycling, walking, running, fishing and other less healthy options, such as great pubs and restaurants!
