Salary: £12.21 per hour
Working Pattern: 37.5/40 hours per week - covering the hours of 8am and 6.30pm
Fixed Term 12 month contract

Are you looking for a new challenge? Castle and Maidstone Road Surgery are a busy and friendly GP practice dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients. The surgery covers two sites, Maidstone Road Chatham and Rochester Healthy Living Centre with a 8,600 patient list size. We are looking for a motivated and professional GP Receptionist/Practice Administrator to join our team on a fixed term 12 month contract. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations within the practice.
Applicants will need to work both on a busy reception desk dealing with patients over the telephone and face to face and also work in the back office performing clinical administration tasks.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong organisational abilities and a keen attention to detail. Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential, and candidates should possess good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general IT skills. A professional, welcoming demeanour, a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality, and the ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
