GP Vacancy at Saxonbury House Medical Group
We are seeking enthusiastic a General Practitioner to join our established team and be a part of a Practice that really cares and makes a difference within the community.
You will be working within our purpose built surgery within Crowborough, serving c9500 patients. Ideally we are looking for a GP to cover up to six clinical sessions per week. The practice is located within a beautiful rural setting in the High Weald area of East Sussex but with easy links to the south and near-by Tunbridge Wells and West Kent.
Main duties of the job
At Saxonbury House we offer a culture of learning to all of our clinicians working at the practice, we also welcome newly qualified GP or GPs returning to work. As a training practice we would welcome either an accredited GP trainer or would be happy to support a clinician that would like to gain GP training status
Saxonbury House Medical Group
We are an established GP Surgery providing Primary Care Services to the Crowborough area in East Sussex. We have a patient population of over 9,500 patients with 4 GP Partners and 3 Salaried GPs , (currently) 2 registrars, 1 ANP, 3 Nurses, 3 HCAs, 2 first contact physios, a social prescriber and 4 Care co-ordinators.
We have taken part in the General Practice Improvement Programme and continue to review our structures and processes, which have led to an increase in productivity and improved our excellent levels of service. Our organisational culture is a learning one, where opportunities for improvement can come from any member of the team, with solutions openly discussed.
The Practice had to make significant changes to the way we operated due to the Covid19 pandemic to ensure that staff and patients were kept safe and since transitioning through the pandemic times we now have a mixed model of telephone or face to face consultations depending on the patients expressed preference or as clinically indicated.
As a Practice we continue to provide Covid vaccinations as the designated site for the High Weald PCN area.
