Clinical Pharmacist - full-time or part-time hours by agreement
Salary – negotiable according to experience
Join our friendly and well-organised team as a clinical pharmacist at our purpose-built medical centre in Sittingbourne, Kent, easily accessible from major road links.
To support plans for expansion, the practice is seeking a competent and enthusiastic Clinical Pharmacist to join our multi-disciplinary team, helping to provide a high quality medicines optimisation programme. In this role you will be interacting daily with patients, community pharmacists, care homes and the ICB/PCN pharmacy teams, and with support from our wider practice team will help take forward our plans for expansion in an area of regeneration.
Reporting to the Business Manager, the successful candidate will work as an independent prescriber to provide specialist advice to patients and colleagues, and undertake full patient-centred medication reviews to proactively manage people with complex polypharmacy, particularly the elderly and those with multiple conditions
To be considered for this key role you will:
- Be a GPhC Registered Pharmacist
- Hold a GPhC Independent Prescriber Qualification, and have
- Experience of working in primary care
- Enhanced IT skills including working knowledge of EMIS Web
- Excellent customer service & interpersonal skills
