Bower Mount Medical Practice has an excellent opportunity for a practice nurse to join our team, on a full or part-time basis.
Job Summary:
Working in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct, the practice nurse will provide assessment, treatment, screening, health education services, and advice to patients.
Practice nurse will work with reference to the practice agreed protocols and guidelines, providing nursing treatments to patients both independently and in participation with nurse colleagues and general practitioners.
Practice nurse must have the required level of training and competence and will work within patient group directions where these are available.
As patients have so many diverse needs, the role of a practice nurse might change on a day-to-day or seasonal basis (for example in the case of seasonal flu vaccination services).
Practice nurses need to be diligent and work well under stressful conditions, this role can be a high-pressure job but with great personal reward.
We are proud to be a 'training practice', therefore, mentoring trainee nurses, or trainee nurse associates could be required.

Essential Experience:
We are looking for a qualified nurse that specialises in respiratory and diabetics.
Desirable Experience:
Experience in working in General Practice would be beneficial.
