About Us:
Join our dynamic and supportive team at Woodlands, where we are committed to providing high-quality patient care. Our practice is located in Gillingham, offering a friendly and collaborative working environment. We are a large but friendly training practice and we host medical students from KMMS. We have a large team consisting of GPs and Nurses, as well as First Contact Physios, a paramedic practitioner, Social Prescribers, a mental health nurse and clinical pharmacists. We operate a total triage model to help manage demand for our local population of just over 20,000 patients.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sessional GP to join our team for 4-6 sessions per week. We are looking for someone who would prefer to work afternoons/evenings and can be flexible with timings to meet any other commitments. If you would like to join our First Contact Team of triage doctors, this would be a bonus! We are keen to help you develop your professional career, with opportunities for educational supervision. We are also expanding our minor ops and joint injections services, as well as our frailty and family planning clinics. There are opportunities to become involved in leadership projects and audit work. We are early adopters of modern healthcare technology and are involved in various trials including AI scribing and admin filing.
Requirements:
Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
