Phoenix Medical Practice has a vacancy for a Clinical Coder to join its experienced, friendly and busy team. Based in the rural setting of Burham, we have a growing patient list currently at 6,000.
As an EMIS WEB practice, previous experience using this system and the use of SNOWMED codes would be essential. The successful candidate would need to have good interpersonal skills, be comfortable working in a small team with the ability to work unsupervised.
Position is an initial 6 month fixed term contract which will be reviewed towards expiry to assess the future requirements which may include extending the term or converting to a permanent position. Working hours would be for up to 37.5 hours over 5 days although could be flexible if less hours required.
