JOB DESCRIPTION
Springhead Health are looking for a call handler within our call-centre on a fixed-term contract with a view to permanent position. You will be responsible for managing incoming calls from patients, e-consults, emails. Your primary duties include:

* Answering phone calls promptly, addressing enquiries, scheduling and cancelling appointments, and providing information about  services
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records related to calls and appointments
* Assisting patients with any non-clinical issues, such as directing them to the appropriate healthcare services
* Communicating effectively with medical staff and other team members to facilitate smooth operations within the surgery
* Managing the e-consults online
* Managing the surgery mailbox
* Managing tasks and other administrative jobs

BACKGROUND
Springhead Health is a large GMS GP Practice, serving approximately 22,500 patients.

We adopt a team approach to patient care and endeavor to monitor the service provided to patients, to ensure that it meets current standards of excellence.

We occupy a purpose-built building with excellent road and rail links, and a nearby high-speed train service into St Pancras London.

We are currently using EMIS Web clinical system.
