Salaried GP – The Parish Fields Practice

The Parish Fields Practice is located in the heart of the market town of Diss in Norfolk. The town has excellent communications links resulting in commute times of less than 1 hour from Norwich, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Thetford and Great Yarmouth areas. Diss is also on the main Norwich - London railway line.
The Practice is well established, with many long-serving staff, and has a current total patient list size of approximately 8,200.
We are now seeking a salaried GP for 4-6 sessions per week.
In addition to 3 longstanding GP Partners and a salaried GP, the Practice works with 2 long term Locum GPs, an excellent and experienced Nursing Team, led by a Practice Nurse Manager, leading a team of 5 nurses, including one prescribing Nurse Practitioner and 2 HCAs.
There is also a full time Clinical Pharmacist on site, along with a full time paramedic who also supports many of the home visits and undertakes care home ward rounds.
Additional clinicians on site include First Contact Physiotherapists, Mental Health Practitioner, and a Social Prescriber.
The clinical teams are supported by highly experienced, professional and friendly Reception/Admin and Secretarial teams.
There is a strong focus on staff wellbeing, with regular staff team events and activities coordinated by the Practice Wellbeing Champion.
Patient feedback over recent months has consistently seen approximately 95% of patients who responded rating the care they receive at the Practice as "Very Good" or "Good".
The Practice utilises the SystmONE computer system and has a dispensary on site, led by an experienced and professional Dispensary Manager.
Free on site parking is provided for GPs.
