Lead Paramedic Practitioner/ Advanced Nurse Practitioner (full-time)
Salary dependent on experience
This is a great opportunity for a registered HCPC/Nurse to work in a friendly, multi-disciplinary team. As part of the Clinical Assessment Team (CAT) you will work alongside GPs assessing and triaging patients. This will include same day triage and as appropriate provide a definite treatment (including prescribing medications) or make necessary referrals to other members of the primary care team.
You will also:
- Line manage Paramedic Practitioner, (Advanced Nurse Practitioner) and GP Assistants
- Advise patients on general healthcare, including self-management and signposting,
- Undertake the collection of pathological specimens,
- Support the team with clinical emergencies,
- Liaise with external services/agencies to ensure patients are supported appropriately (vulnerable patients etc)
