Ireland Wood & Horsforth Medical Practice is a thriving and well-respected GP practice in Leeds, serving the second largest patient population in the city of approximately 28,000 patients across two sites. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Practice Manager to lead our team, closely supported by our HR & Operations Manager and Finance Manager. We provide a collaborative and innovative working environment, committed to providing high-quality patient care.
At interview, the candidates will be expected to deliver a short presentation on the following subjects:
- How would you approach your first three months at the Practice?
- How would you prepare for a CQC inspection?
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for organisational and operational leadership and delivering key targets across the full range of clinical and administrative areas. The post will involve reviewing, developing and implementing the overall operational business strategy as agreed with the Partners to ensure the practice meets its agreed aims and objectives, within a profitable, efficient, effective and safe working environment.
We are seeking a manager to lead, motivate and manage a multidisciplinary team, with strong interpersonal and organisational skills who would value the opportunity to play an integral role in the continued development and growth of our practice. You will be responsible for ensuring the Practice achieves long-term strategic objectives in an effective and safe working environment compliant with CQC regulations.
