We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our team, which includes 4 nurses and an HCA. You will hold NVQ level 3 in healthcare (or equivalent) or be prepared to work towards the qualification.
Working as a part of our nursing team under the supervision of a nurse you will be competent to undertake, or working towards competency, in a variety of tasks including
- ECGs
- Urinalysis
- Phlebotomy
- Administering injections
- Stocking clinical rooms
- Assisting GPs in Minor Ops sessions and preparing the minor ops room
- Providing clerical assistance to the nursing team

Eglwysbach Medical Practice is a team of 7 partners, 6 salaried GPs, a GP retainer and a Physician Associate, serving a practice population upwards of 16,000 patients.
Our location
The practice is well established and the main surgery, in the town centre of Pontypridd, is based in a former Welsh Wesleyan Methodist chapel. There are branches in Tonteg and Ynysybwl. Excellent links to Cardiff, the A470 and M4 corridor.
