Salaried GP (maternity cover with a view to remain on as salaried/ partner), Pavilion Surgery, Brighton
We are looking for a salaried GP who is committed to patient care and with excellent clinical skills to join our friendly clinical team. This position is to cover maternity leave of one of our partners, for 12 months, starting December 2024. 5 sessions are available, Monday all day, Wednesday afternoon and Friday all day.
The practice has 10,500 patients. We are a stable partner-heavy practice with 7 partners and 2 salaried GPs.
Starting salary £11k per session/per annum
We have 15-minute routine appointments, which are a mixture of telephone and face-to-face, according to patient wish. Our forward-thinking PCN have created a home visiting service to assist with GP home visits. We split duty GP pro-rata and only do half a day at a time. We work hard to maintain patient-GP continuity leading to better patient care and outcomes, and a more rewarding experience for our GPs.
Pavilion Surgery is right in the centre of Brighton, opposite Royal Pavilion and gardens. Excellent public transport links, and on site staff parking is available. Brighton beach and Palace Pier are a 5-minute walk away.
Pavilion Surgery was rated best overall surgery in Brighton (and 2nd in Sussex) for patient satisfaction in the 2023 annual survey. This high patient satisfaction is reflective of a well-run practice powered by a happy, sociable and appreciated team.
Surgery is a very sociable practice with GPs meeting for lunch most days. We regularly pop in and out of each other’s rooms to ask advice or have a chat. Each year we have a summer get together, a Xmas party in December and other events throughout the year.
