Practice nurse – Thorndike partnership

The Thorndike Partnership is looking to recruit a practice nurse to join the practice team.
The role would include general nurse duties including cervical screening, contraception, childhood immunisations, travel vaccinations, and wound care. In addition, appropriate qualifications in the management of chronic health conditions such as Asthma, Diabetes and COPD is required.
Our practice has a patient list size of nearly 13,000 and the part for the PCN in a group of Three surgeries, we work to deliver improved services to our population.
We have a large multi-skilled team consisting of 2 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, 3 Clinical Pharmacist, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 Trainee Nursing Associate, 2 healthcare assistants, 1 health and wellbeing coach and a phlebotomist who are supported by a large administrative team including an assistant practice manager, and reception supervisor.
The position is for one day per week.
