We are currently seeking a Handler to join our Medway Team. This hours are from 8AM-5PM.
As a Call Handler, you will be responsible for:
- Handle incoming calls from patients and other healthcare providers promptly and efficiently.
- Record essential information accurately on EMIS for multiple GP practices.
- Schedule the most appropriate appointments for patients, including GP, Nurse, Health Care Assistant, etc., adhering to different protocols for each practice.
- Refer patients to pharmacy first where appropriate and book appointments with Allied Health Professionals in line with their scope of practice.
- Manage call volume and maintain a high level of service across multiple sites.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Perform various administrative duties generated by patient calls.
- Accurately follow administrative processes and procedures.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
- Perform call and recall duties to book Nurses, HCAs and Phlebotomist clinics
- Assist practices to complete EMIS/Docman tasks
- Undertake any other delegated duties as required.
