About Us:
Derby and Derbyshire GPPB were created to provide a single, appropriately representative and learned Derbyshire GP voice into the Integrated Care System (ICS) at all required strategic, operational and workstream levels. It provides a collaborative voice for developing the future of general practice provision within the Derbyshire health and care system and seeks to maximise the opportunities to lead general practice to improve patient outcomes and reduce health inequalities.
Derbyshire GPPB works closely with Derby & Derbyshire LMC and The Hub+ Derbyshire to provide a wide
range of support to General Practice, recognising the fundamental role General Practice plays
in providing care to patients in an increasingly complex and challenging environment.
Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced and dynamic individual to join our developing executive team to strengthen and lead on the delivery of GPPB’s objectives, culture, values and ways of working with a view to putting general practice on the strongest possible footing, now and in the future, for the benefits of patients, communities and staff. |
Under the line management of the Head of Operation and Delivery, and with the direction of the Board, you will have the opportunity to lead and support the development and implementation of a wide range of initiatives for GPPB across Derby and Derbyshire. Using highly developed improvement and project management skills you will provide ‘hands on’ programme and project management support to the exec team and clinical leads.
