Minehead Medical Centre is looking for experienced Salaried GPs to join us on a permanent basis!
Minehead is a coastal town in Somerset, lying on the south bank of the Bristol Channel and within easy reach of Bristol, Taunton, and Yeovil. The town is surrounded by beautiful scenery, Exmoor national park, and some fantastic walks and cycle routes.

OneMedical Group joined Minehead Medical Centre in February 2024 and are supporting the team there to deliver excellent care to the patients and communities around Minehead. The Medical Centre is a central hub in the town, with a team there that are as close-knit as the rest of Minehead’s population. In recent years, Minehead Medical Centre has undergone refurbishment works to provide additional clinical rooms on the ground floor.

We are looking for a dedicated salaried General Practitioner to join our team at Minehead Medical Centre, to help ensure the safe, effective and compliant delivery of services to all our patients. As a team we’re passionate about what we do, making sure that patients are receiving the best care possible and in the right way for them. With a generous salary of up to £100,000 per annum, and NHS Pension scheme enrolment, GPs can be confident of a strong benefits package with OneMedical Group. Relocation support is available, should you decide to take a leap of faith and move to this picturesque scenery. Alternatively, job-related accommodation may be provided, should you decide to work with us without making drastic changes.

  • Understand the patient population to be able to provide high quality care to patients
  • Undertake both planned and urgent primary care as required
  • Provide patient focussed, evidence-based practice to a high standard
