We have an exciting opportunity for a part time/full time Prescribing Paramedic/ANP to join our surgery team.

As a paramedic/ANP you would being using your skills and clinical judgement to provide a first point of contact for our patients that present to us with minor illnesses and conditions.

Main duties of the job

To support and work alongside the GPs and clinical team who deal with all the acute/on-the-day patients including triage. This role includes assessment, diagnosis and treatment of these patients who present with undiagnosed conditions.

The post holder will provide and maintain a high standard of care for patients as well as providing support to the GPs and other members of the primary health care team.

This position will also include visiting housebound patients to assess, diagnose and treat when they are unable to access their practice.

Bridgeside Surgery is one of three practices in Hailsham. Our list size is 6,600 patients supported by two GP partners, three part time salaried GPs, a part time ANP and nursing team including phlebotomists. Our list size is 6,600. Bridgeside Surgery is part of the Hailsham Primary Care Network (PCN) together with Quintins Medical Centre and Hailsham Medical Centre.
