A rare opportunity has arisen to join Bearsted Medical Practice as a 4-8 session salaried GP.
The practice
Located in the picturesque semi-rural outskirts of Maidstone, Kent, Bearsted Medical Practice is a leading practice within the area.
We offer a high level of care for 15,500 registered patients with our own dispensary serving 2000 patients. We are a well-respected training practice supporting a range of medical practitioners from medical students and F2 doctors through to GP trainees.
The practice is part of The Ridge Primary Care Network, which incorporates practices at Lenham, Sutton Valence and Langley. We are supported by a fantastic PCN team.
The team
We are a friendly and supportive 8 Partner practice. Our team also includes 2 salaried GPs, 2 registrars, 2 paramedics, a clinical pharmacy team, 5 nurses and 3 HCAs.
We have a strong sense of working together with our administrators and receptionists who play a vital role in supporting the clinical team on a daily basis.
Our processes
We operate a total triage system (AccuRx triage) to ensure that care is prioritised based on clinical need. Clinical sessions involve both face-to-face and telephone appointments. Home visits are managed by our paramedics.
We have a robust system in place to ensure workload is not overwhelming for our duty doctor.
Our monthly clinical meetings and daily team coffee breaks provide an approachable opportunity for clinicians to discuss cases and share clinical knowledge, furthering our professional development.
