GP Partner (4-6 sessions, negotiable) – Brent Area Medical Centre

Due to the relocation of one of our existing GP Partners, a unique opportunity now exists to become part of our rural dispensing practice on a part time basis, Monday to Friday. The Partners are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive GP Partner to complement our small, friendly team of clinicians.
We are based in the village of East Brent, 5 minutes from Junction 22 of the M5 and only 10 minutes from the coast.
We are above all looking for someone who is a good fit for our team and will find it easy to fit in with our shared philosophy with the existing partner. Experience and number of years is not essential as we value personal qualities and potential highly. We are seeking a well-rounded clinician with excellent clinical skills.
We would be happy to encourage the new partners development into additional areas should they have a particular preference. We will fully support integration into a dispensing practice, should the right candidate not have the relevant experience in this area.
About the Brent Area Medical Centre:
- We are a supportive, deeply committed practice in a village location
- 3400 patient practice with approximately 90% dispensing patients

- Profitable dispensary currently being refurbished
- 2 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GP’s
- 1 Experienced Practice Nurse and 1 HCA
- 1 PCN Health Coach and MSK FCP
- Reception, Dispensary and Administrative team.
- We are actively involved with our North Sedgemoor Primary Care Network
- We have a low number of home visits
- We offer a full complement of services including family planning and travel medicine
- Monthly MDT meetings with our community colleagues
- Good relationships with neighbouring practices
- Our PCN has been proactive in appointing Additional Roles Reimbursable Roles.

As a GP Partner you will deal with a wide range of health needs in the Primary Care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
