Job Purpose
To work with Dispensary Lead, the Prescription Clerks and support the practice based Clinical Pharmacist to ensure the delivery of; safe, effective and efficient systems for repeat prescribing ensuring efficiency, medicines optimisation, and responding to medication queries.
The role will also include training and development of prescription clerks in addition to dispensary staff up to NVQ level 2 and Pre-registration Technician.
An exciting opportunity has risen at Len Valley Practice to employ a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly and supported team.
Len Valley Practice is a vibrant forward thinking Practice ,with a great family feel. The dispensary is set within the practice, the team is made up of Dispensers, Dispensary Admin and a Pharmacy technician.
The practice is set in the village of Lenham on the outskirts of Maidstone just of the M20/A20. There is a station but your own transport is advisable.
The other clinical staff are: 5 GP Partners,3 Salaried GP ,Clinical Pharmacist, Nurses, HCA's and other clinicians from our Primary Care Network. We are also GP Training Practice.
This is a busy and forward thinking practice with a good support network.
