Practice Nurse

Campus View Medical Centre is located within the Loughborough University campus with a predominately student population of 18,000 patients. The unique demographics of our population means an emphasis on minor illness & injury, sexual health, contraception & travel clinics.
The Practice also supports Two Care Homes
The Practice has two Partners, six salaried GP’s, Advanced Level Practitioner, Mental Health Practitioner, Neurodiversity Occupational Therapist and other ARRS staff. The Practice is part of the Carillon PCN.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic nurse to join our practice nursing team.
Ideally the applicant would have experience of Practice Nursing as well as some experience in the following areas. The Medical Centre will provide training and internal support to the right candidate:
Diabetes
Cardiovascular disease
Asthma, COPD
Contraception and Sexual Health
Adult and childhood immunisations
Learning disabilities
Cervical Screening
Wound Care
Travel Health and Travel vaccinations
Minor Illness and Minor Injury
Part Time 15 Hours
Salary: Agenda for Change Scales dependent upon Experience plus NHS Pension Scheme.
