Clinical Services Team Lead

Location: St Martins Practice, 210 Chapeltown Rd, Leeds LS7 4HZ

Full time or Part time (minimum 30 hours pw across 4 or 5 days)

Our clinical services team of 3 staff provides administrative support to the clinical teams.
We are a friendly, efficient & supportive practice

Job purpose

  • Ideally, you have got experience within general practice

  • We provide a holistic patient care and have a full range of services on site including Wellbeing Team, Linking Leeds, woundcare clinic, pharmacist team.
  • We have special interests in medical / nurse education; substance misuse; diabetes; minor surgery; and health inequalities.

What will you do?

Assist the Clinical Services Manager :

  • managing incoming Clinical Correspondence
  • Following up recalls and waiting lists for example for Amber Drugs testing, & minor surgery clinics
  • Clinical system reporting
  • Repeat prescriptions
  • Referrals
  • Managing requests for medical reports and letters including subject access requests
  • Assisting with the planning & administration of our appointment ledgers
  • Clerical assistance for our provision of medical student training (1st, 2nd and 4th years) and nurse training

“The practicals”

  • Up to £12.45 ph according to skills and experience, plus NHS pension (20% employer contributions)
  • 30 – 37½ hours pw.
  • We are a “real life” friendly practice and are open to flex-ing working hours. We will work with the right candidate to agree a contracted hours which suit their circumstances.
