PARTNERSHIP OR SALARIED GP POST IN SOUTHAMPTON:
4-6 session vacancy
Due to retirement of a partner we are looking for a GP to join our team and hold a personal list of patients at Cheviot Road Surgery starting Spring 2024.
We are committed to providing continuity of care through our Personal List System, and consider this to be a very positive aspect of our practice for both patient and GP. We know our patients and they know and trust us.
Because of this there is very little
- Trawling through notes trying to work out what has gone before or why a test was done
- Visiting- we know when not to
- Patient complaints
In its place there is
- Learning- we see the outcomes of our decisions
- Job satisfaction- proper relationships with patients, meaningful end of life care
- Grateful patients- we consistently score highly in the national GP patient feedback survey
We are a large and well-established partnership comprising of 9 partners based at Cheviot Road and Shirley Avenue Surgeries serving a patient list of 15,500.
The vacancy we have is at our Cheviot Road site where we currently have 4 Partners working with a loyal team of Practice Nurses, HCAs, sessional GPs, and care navigators. Our management team is based at this site.
We are well organised with an in-house programme of educational meetings and audit, along with long established high QoF achievement.
We are active in the West Southampton Primary Care Network with a partner involved as clinical director. Our wider practice team includes a physiotherapist, pharmacist, mental health nurse, health and wellbeing coach and social prescriber working onsite as well as Steps to Wellbeing practitioners.
