Are you a salaried GP who undertakes their role with a caring, enthusiastic, motivated & committed approach? We are looking for a GP who will enjoy working with us and who fits in well with the ethos of the practice. Our priorities are good patient care and teamwork. We look after each other and share the workload.
We are a friendly and supportive team, currently looking after 8800 patients over 2 sites in a largely rural area.
This vacancy is for a minimum of 6 sessions per week, plus CPD.Whether you are an experienced GP or recently qualified, we would love to hear about the skills and interests you would bring.
Coltishall is an attractive, spacious, dispensing practice in a pretty rural village on the Norfolk Broads. Our main surgery is in Coltishall, extended just 6 years ago providing light airy rooms, with a small branch surgery at Spixworth, about 4 miles away.
We have worked hard to develop systems which blend the best of modern and traditional general practice giving good patient access. We pride ourselves on our superb patient satisfaction scores and high standards of care.
We hold regular multi-disciplinary team meetings for clinical governance, palliative care, admission avoidance, safeguarding, and referral management.
Our current team consists of 8 GPs, a physician associate, advanced nurse practitioner, supportive nursing team, excellent administrative staff and processes. This includes ARRS roles, prescribing pharmacist, pharmacy technician, first contact physiotherapists, GP Assistants and Care Coordinator.
We operate a flexible appointment system using EmisWeb and Docman. These systems are easy to learn, no prior experience is necessary and we will provide full training.
Coltishall is part of the NN3 Primary Care Network with 3 other local practices with whom we have worked very effectively.
