An exciting opportunity is available for flexible and resilient individuals to join the invigilator team for the University of Plymouth. This role will be primarily based in Taunton, with the opportunity to also work within Plymouth and Exeter.
The Role:
The role holder will facilitate ad-hoc face-to-face examinations and clinical assessments. These assessments will primarily take place in Taunton covering four examination dates and two high-stakes clinical assessment dates throughout the academic year. These dates are circulated in advance for role holders to indicate availability but are typically in October, January, March, May and June.
Role holders are included in the invigilator pool, providing an opportunity to invigilate main university examinations in Plymouth and Exeter. Please note that travel to these areas can be claimed backed following the assessment. The role holder will also have the prospect to provide senior invigilator support during examinations where they will have extra responsibilities as outlined in the job description.
The role is managed on a flexible basis, meaning role holders are able to indicate availability when assessment dates are available. As examinations are distributed throughout the year work is on an ad-hoc basis. Assessments generally take place between the hours of 7am – 7pm Monday - Friday.
