An exciting opportunity to join our GP Practice
Park Medical Partnership based in Shepton Mallet is a well-established practice serving a large and dynamic patient list of over 11000 patients. We are a training practice with an enthusiastic culture for learning and development. We have a large purpose built Medical Centre as well as a branch site located 3 miles from our main practice.
Our team consistently strives to deliver high quality, innovative, patient-centered care. The Clinical Team consists of 8 GPs and a strong nursing team including 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners and a Practice Pharmacist. We also work closely with other practices in our area that form the Mendip Primary Care Network and we are involved in developing new pathways and streamlining work streams across the network.
We are looking for a Practice Manager who is highly motivated, with excellent leadership skills, who is supported by a Deputy Practice Manager, Management Team Administrator, Non-Clinical Team Lead and a team of experienced and hardworking Administrators and Receptionists.
The role requires an individual who is confident in managing staff and has strong leadership skills. We are looking for someone who is capable of balancing strategic and financial management alongside more general management including human resources, health and safety, IT and quality improvement.
The successful candidate should be adaptable and able to understand and respond to the diverse and dynamic nature of the role being able to balance the needs of the Practice with the ever-changing challenges of providing healthcare. We are looking to develop future systems that support excellent patient care and staff wellbeing.
