Creswell and Langwith Medical Centre is looking to recruit a GP to join our friendly practice team.
We would consider 4-8 sessions per week.
Creswell and Langwith Medical Centre offers excellent consulting rooms that are well-equipped, spacious and comfortable.
The surgery serves 5,450 patients in Creswell, Langwith and the surrounding areas.
The practice is rated good by the CQC and performs well against QOF and the GP Patient Survey.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will provide a portfolio of general medical services; including managing a caseload, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
To support the Lead Clinician and practice team to manage a busy and interesting clinical caseload. The appointee will have the opportunity to take part in leading on key disease areas and assist in developing appropriate healthcare services for a diverse patient list.
They will work collaboratively and support the Lead Clinician and practice team to manage a busy and interesting clinical caseload.
They will lead on key areas within the practice, such as specific QOF domains, quality standards, and practice initiatives, as agreed with the Clinical Lead and/or Practice Manager.
The successful candidate would also be expected to support the extended access service.

Ripley Medical Centre is a part of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS).
DCHS operates a group of surgeries under it's General Practice Service, and provides a supportive environment for GPs.
As part of the Trust we are able to support with Tier 2 sponsorship/visas.

- Relevant post-graduate qualification such as teaching or healthcare leadership

- Relevant specialist experience or skills, e.g. joint injection/minor surgery
