Salary £48,000 - £55,000 per annum dependant on skills and experience

Are you a strong people manager who can lead and manage a large team, able to multitask and prioritise workload to effectively deliver patient care?

We are a Good rated practice by the CQC with a team of friendly and supportive individuals delivering care to 13.5k patients. We are a strong training practice providing support and development to all including our future doctors and we are involved with new initiatives and the development of Belper Primary Care Network. One of the partners is the joint Clinical Director and we were heavily involved with the vaccination programme including operations and IT infrastructure. More recently, we have set up a visiting service called Teams Up providing an MDT approach to deliver patient care.


The existing Practice Manager is leaving after more than a decade, so we are seeking someone with vision and drive to keep the numerous cogs working effectively together including leadership and management with a team of 40 employed staff.

The successful post holder will proactively lead the practice ensuring that we continue to deliver high standards of care and team working in a changing time within the NHS and primary care. Your passion for patient services and supporting the team must match ours, and we expect you to have a good insight into HR, finance, patient services and governance along with the strategic vision.

You will be responsible for service improvement and delivery of key targets across the full range of clinical and administrative areas within the practice. You need to be organised and be able to build excellent working relationships using your excellent interpersonal skills.

Collaborating with the Partners, who each have key lead areas, you will be responsible for the ongoing development of the team and key services. You will also have the vision, willingness, and drive to adapt and lead the practice in the new ways of working of Primary Care Networks and Integrated Care systems.


The successful applicant will be expected to meet the English language fluency requirements as outlined in the Immigration Act 2016.
