The practice is a 5-partner training practice that is now looking for an enthusiastic doctor, to join our friendly and supportive team. Highparks Medical Practice is also one of three practices that make up Medway Peninsula PCN
We work between four purpose-built surgeries in a semi-rural part of Medway, close to rail link, 17 minutes to London and 1 hour to Europe.
We have always successfully achieved maximum QoF scores and good patient satisfaction results due to our committed team of clinical and non-clinical staff. We are also very proud to be a well-established training practice, helping to provide the primary care workforce of the future. In fact, many of our GP Partners and Salaried GPs were previous GP trainees, which speaks volumes for itself.
The practice is always keen to support its GPs to develop specific clinical interests. In particular, the practice has a unique opportunity to support an interest in frailty as we have a contract to provide medical services to a nurse led bedded unit in Medway with wards for stroke and for rehabilitation.
Finally, please be aware that all GP practices in England from Oct 2022 are contracted to provide GP services up until 8pm (Mon – Fri) and Saturdays from 0900-5.00pm.
Our vacancy is currently offering four to six sessions, to include up to 8pm Wednesdays and Thursdays along with Saturday mornings. We would also be open to further discussions. One of our top priorities at the practice is to provide staff with a flexible work pattern that supports a work life balance.
