Grange Medical Practice is a thriving training practice in the heart of the City of Cardiff. With a growing patient population of circa 11,500 patients, we provide a broad range of GMS and Enhanced services to the vibrant and diverse communities in the south of the city. We are close to both the city centre and Cardiff Bay, with excellent road and transport links, with easy access to the M4.
We occupy a modern, spacious, purpose-built surgery, with excellent facilities, including plentiful and secure on-site parking

The practice boasts a friendly and highly professional team of 7 GP Partners, together with 3 experienced nurses and HCA, all complemented by a supportive reception and administration team. We are further supported by additional health care professionals, including Frailty nurse, Physiotherapist and a Mental Health Liaison worker.

Due to the recent closure of a neighbouring practice, we have seen a significant growth in patient numbers, and with regeneration and housing projects in the area ongoing, it is anticipated that we will continue to grow dynamically.

We are a traditional GP led 7 partner practice, operating on a ‘partner only’ model, but with a modern and forward-thinking ethos. We pride ourselves on a supportive and team focused model, with the all-important work-life balance.

We are a high QAIF/QOF achieving practice, offering a full range of enhanced services including minor surgery, contraceptive services, and drugs misuse shared care. We also enjoy our training practice status, offering teaching to both registrars and Year 3 & 5 medical students.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking partner (s) to join the team and to help take us forward into the next evolution of the practice. We have up to 8 sessions available and can be flexible with days.

This role is suitable for both newly qualified or those with more experience looking for a change.
Competitive sessional rate available.
