Exciting new opportunity to work in a friendly supportive team!

Keighley Road Surgery in Halifax West Yorkshire is looking to recruit a new Advanced Practitioner.

You would Join a team of 6 GPs, an advanced pharmacy practitioner, 2 Pharmacists, 3 practice nurses and 2 healthcare assistants caring for 11,000 patients in a delightful semi-rural surgery.

Our aim is to deliver high quality care, whilst ensuring the practitioner work life balance is optimised. We offer daily wellbeing activities including walks and table tennis as well as regular tea/coffee breaks and clinical debriefs.

As a training surgery for GP trainees, ANPs, physicians associates, and pharmacists we can offer a supportive environment for you to develop your clinical skills or develop a particular interest – for example dermatology, minor surgery, occupational health, women’s health, diabetes, palliative care education or research. Whatever your interest, we are able to develop a work plan to support it.

We have strong connections with the LMC and local PCN and expanding number of integrated additional roles – paramedics, social prescribers, pharmacists, health coaches, care co-ordinators, musculoskeletal and mental health practitioners.

Whether you are experienced in general practice and looking for an opportunity to expand your skills or are new to GP looking for a supportive surgery to begin to your career we would be happy to talk to you and receive your application.

Up to 8 sessions/week, remote working opportunities, personal and professional development encouraged. NHS pension and professional indemnity included. £50-£55k negotiable renumeration package.
