We are seeking a Salaried GP in NE Bristol (Emersons Green and Leap Valley Surgery) for 4-8 sessions. We are pleased to offer a £10,000 “Golden Hello” to any successful applicant, payable after 12 months of service. (pro rata – based on full time being 8 clinical sessions)

We are looking to recruit a salaried GP with an opportunity to join our partnership in 12-24 months as part of our succession planning.

We also realise partnership may not be for everyone and would gladly welcome applications from those who wish to apply as salaried GPs. There is potential to develop leadership roles within our organisation with additional responsibilities which would also attract a higher level of remuneration.

We welcome applications from newly qualified GPs. We have in house mentorship scheme but also actively encourage and support those who wish to participate in the General Practice Fellowship programme. This scheme provides funded CPD and mentorship over a two-year programme of support, available to all newly-qualified GPs working substantively in general practice.

What sets up apart?

15 minute appointments as standard

Dedicated remote working – 1 session per week

Green Valleys Health: 2 successful well established GP practices, across 3 sites

List size, currently approx. 21,000. (combined across the sites)

Training practice also working with nursing students

Dedicated on site PCN pharmacist on site

Dedicated drug worker

Health visitors on site

Unique clinical service model to ensure best patient care whilst allowing clinicians to work ‘smarter not harder’

Participating in the community pharmacy consultation service – minor illness presentations are directed by reception to pharmacy appointments without GP input

On site first contact physiotherapist dealing with a proportion of MSK workload

Experienced Nurse Practitioner team across all sites managing urgent care and minor illness

Excellent admin support to maximise efficiency and reduce GP workload.

High QOF achievement

Experienced GP Partners (each with own special interest areas) offering support and mentor ship, to encourage personal development and develop special interest areas.

No weekend work, minimal extended hours.

Modern, purpose built surgeries with onsite parking.

EMIS/Docman/ ICE used extensively-paper light practice, with e-prescribing.

Weekly MDT meeting with locality team.

Your role:

Full or part-time post available.
