Job summary
We are actively seeking a an experienced Physicians Associates to join our team at Aspiro Healthcare in Derby. We operate out of 5 GP Practices based in Littleover, Sinfin, Allenton and Alvaston, with the main practices being Hollybrook Medical Centre and Parkfields Surgery. We are a dynamic and forward thinking organisation and serve a population of approximately 40,000 patients. This position is a full-time position for 37.5 hours, working between 8.00am and 8.00pm, 7 days a week.
Main duties of the job
To be considered for the role, you will be an experienced Physicians Associate preferably within a primary care setting. As part of the role, dependent on your experiences, you will be required to undertake a variety of duties including, but not limited to, face to face, telephone and online consultations for urgent or routine problems, identify, signpost or refer patients at risk of developing long-term conditions, produce care plans for frequent attenders and undertake initial consultations. You will work within a multi-skilled team across multiple sites in Derby, led and supported by an experienced GP Lead.

We have an amazing multi-disciplinary team within our practices from: GPs, Trainee Doctors, AHPs such as Advanced Clinical / Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, First Contact Physio's, Physicians Associates, Social Prescribers, Nurses and HCAs complimented by a patient services team administratively.
