This is a part time vacancy for 27hrs
Busy GP surgery in Rochester Kent requires a receptionist.
You must have excellent interpersonal skills, a good telephone manner and the ability to communicate clearly. A friendly, enthusiastic, positive attitude and a sense of humour are essential to the role.
Experience of EMIS WEB computer systems is desired.
If you are a team player, customer services orientated and have the ability to work under pressure alone or as part of a team, then you could be the person we are looking for to join our busy friendly GP surgery.
Thorndike Medical Centre is a teaching and training Practice situated in purpose-built premises with on-site parking and located in the heart of Rochester in Kent. It is easily accessible by road and public transport with onsite parking.
Our practice has a patient list size of 13,000 and is the lead practice for the PCN a group of four surgeries; we work together to deliver improved services to our population.
Our Multidisciplinary team and admin colleagues provide high levels of support and a positive team environment.
The current clinical team consists of 2 GP Partners,6 experienced GPs, , 2 ST Doctors, 2 Nurses and 3 HCAs and 1 phlebotomists. We work closely with the local medical school and currently have 2 registrars.
