Ambulance Clinical Hub Sessional Doctor
An exciting opportunity to do something different.
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) is looking for additional doctors with an aptitude for telephone triage. The positions are based in our 999 Control Centres in Bristol and Exeter.
The work will encompass telephone consultations directly with patients, relatives and/or their carers as well as working as part of our clinical team in the to provide primary care support to paramedics, nurses and emergency care practitioners within the control centre along with telephone support to our ambulance clinicians on the road.
The role will suit experienced doctors who are comfortable managing clinical risk in the context of telephone triage.
You will be well supported by a friendly clinical and administrative team. Induction and training will be provided.
Rates of pay compare favourably with local OOH providers.
SWASFT will provide your medical indemnity.
