2 GP Lecturers – Lincoln Medical School

Applications are invited for two GP lecturer posts based at Lincoln Medical School.

Working with the medical education faculty for Lincoln Medical School, the GP Lecturers will deliver teaching within the Junior Primary Care attachment, for students in Years 3 and 4 as part of the Foundations for Practice (FFP) phase of the new clinical curriculum. This involves small group teaching in clinical presentations and communication skills, and pastoral support to the students whilst on placement. There will also be responsibilities to contribute to assessment, evaluation, and quality assurance of the programme.

Applicants must be fully registered GPs who have completed foundation training and hold a current licence to practise with the GMC. The post holders are also required to have satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

These posts are part-time (8 hours per week) and are offered on a 3 year fixed-term basis.
