We currently have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced GP to join our practice as a salaried GP, six-sessions (negotiable), to improve the flexible work patterns for our clinical team
Background:
St David’s is a supportive, forward-thinking teaching/training practice involved in research, with a practice list size of 15,500 and a friendly multi-disciplinary team of other dedicated and highly skilled healthcare professionals comprising of 7 partners and 4 salaried GP’s, with 2 ACP’s who deal with home visits and manage weekly MDT meetings working collaboratively within other like-minded clusters, sharing ideas and resources, 2 pharmacists providing support to help with repeat prescriptions/medication reviews, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 HCA’s, providing care for patients and their families in a way we believe is best, delivering high service standards, sharing best practice and actively improving the way we work. Situated in the centre of Newport with an easy commute from Cardiff.
We are an organised Practice with a dedicated and highly trained administration team, care navigation team and prescription team allowing GP’s to concentrate on their clinical duties.

We offer a session rate of £10K, with a competitive annual leave (9 weeks inclusive of study days), maternity package and indemnity and pension contributions paid.
Scope to be involved in contraceptive services, minor surgery and teaching as well as the potential for future involvement in accelerated cluster development.
