Salaried GP vacancy at East Parade Surgery, Harrogate
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a salaried GP to join our team, working 5 clinical sessions in a friendly, dynamic and forward-thinking, single-site surgery in Harrogate. We are situated in a modern purpose-built premises in the heart of Harrogate and have an outstanding clinical and nursing team.

One of our partners is the clinical director of the Mowbray PCN, which places us in an excellent position to lead on new ways of working and maximise the benefits of close relationships with our colleagues in the allied health professions. We are friendly and supportive with a focus on staff wellbeing and for many years have continued the tradition of our valuable daily GP coffee meeting.
The responsibilities will include a pro-rata share of Duty Doctor sessions each week, support the Extended hours sessions and a share of the small number of home visits the practice does.
We offer our Salaried GPs the following;
- Daily clinicians meeting
- Bi-monthly multidisciplinary clinical team meeting & significant event review
- Monthly joint palliative care meetings with consultant and specialist nurse
- Three annual area wide PLT educational meetings, with protected surgery cover
- Six PCN-specific educational PLT meetings with protected surgery cover
- Ongoing supervision and support from GP partners, with the opportunity for mentoring in house or externally
- Ongoing health education
- Opportunity for involvement in non-clinical aspects of primary care
- Membership of the NHS pension scheme
- BUPA health plan
- Cycle to work scheme
Salary: £9,200 - £9,700 per session (per annum) dependent on experience
Annual leave entitlement: 30 days + 8 bank holidays (pro-rata)
Study leave entitlement: 1 week per year (pro rata)
