Dr Virmani and Dr Bedi based at Whitwick Heath Centre in Leicetershire, are looking for someone who is forward thinking, innovative and patient focused. Would suit a newly qualified or experienced GP
We are located in Whitwick which is in the heart of the national forest and have a list size of 4500 patients
We offer a wide range of services for our patients and pride ourselves on delivering good quality patient focused care.
The practice is well led with a friendly and supportive team. Our clinical team has a wide skill mix including 2 GP partners, 1 Nurse Prescriber, paramedic, pharmacist, HCA , Mental health Support worker and first contact physio.
Our clinical team is supported by an extensive and experienced management, reception and administration team.
We are an active member of our Primary Care Network working alongside our fellow practices.
Main duties of the job
5 GP sessions per week, ideally Monday all day, Tuesday all day and Friday mornings. You will also be required to help with the clinical administration when you are in the practice and perhaps lead on any local initiatives depending on your interests and experience.

We have a very proactive and enthusiastic team who are passionate about the care we deliver to our patients. We work well with our local stakeholders and the extended care team. We embrace signposting and use SystmOne protocols to manage appointment demand. We are really good at this and we always have available appointments on the day for our patients, some days we even have unused appointment slots!!
