Covid-19 may have changed the world, but General Practice has shown just what it is made of! Dealing with all the usual demand, Covid-19 cases and delivering the largest vaccination programme in history, we have demonstrated just how incredible General Practice is. As we embark upon the next chapter in the journey, we hope you will join us on the experience of navigating these exciting times. We are seeking to recruit a new member of our team to expand our dynamic, happy and friendly practice in the picturesque village of Woodhall Spa.
We are keen to hear from someone with a wide range of skills, ready to provide our patients with highest standard of care in the modern world of General Practice. While Covid-19 has changed some of what we do and how we do it; we still want to do it well.
Woodhall Spa New Surgery, along with our branch site at Bardney, has a history of high QOF performance and a good CQC rating. We wish to continue in this vein, whilst developing and expanding our range of clinical staff.

The GP team work together as a democratic, resilient and close group, with the aim of providing high quality, evidence-based care whilst maintaining a good work life balance. Our young (ish) Partners believe in the importance of non-medical interests to distract from the rich tapestry of General Practice and this makes Woodhall Spa a great place to be based. Go running or cycling in the Wolds, surfing on the coast (only in Summer unless hardy), or enjoy some retail therapy and excellent restaurants in the Cathedral City of Lincoln. All this is within thirty minutes’ drive. Excellent local schools and great house prices in many of the beautiful local villages or in the hustle and bustle of the city with make this a fantastic location.
We have been a very successful training Practice in the past and aim to restart training again in the not-too-distant future as two of our current Partners have recently completed the PGCME. This enables us to keep up to date, but demonstrates our supportive and nurturing ethos. Our other two Partners hold key positions in the local Primary Care Network so that we can help shape and drive care in our area. We are keen to help team members to develop their own skills and interests. These interests do not just have to be medical. Our current team enjoy a wide range of interests from Minor Surgery and Vasectomies to running (not as fast as we used to) in a wide range of events (some of which suggest questionable sanity), jumping in a VW camper for a random weekend away, or just chasing our young families around endlessly.
We would like to meet a candidate who would be keen to join our team and could work part or full time. A wide range of interests and experience is welcome, but we would also be keen to hear from someone with possible special interest in Respiratory medicine to help support our care of patients with Asthma and COPD.
